Q: Are you actually listing my house on the MLS or buying it?
A: I would like to buy your house from you. That is what I do here at Shift Investments. In most cases, I can give you more money at the end of the day and do so faster than putting it up on the MLS. The great part is that there are no fess or commissions to pay unlike listing your house on the MLS.
Q: Do you pay fair prices for properties?

Q: How do you determine the price to offer on my house?
A: I use a simple formula that I have derived over the years. We simply take a look at the house sales that have taken place in your area in the last couple of months and then compare those to your property. After we have that number, we will subtract the costs we will incur during and after purchasing your house, including any repairs that are needed. That is how we determine our fair price to both parties.
Q: Are there any fees or commissions to work with you?
A: No, Never. We cover all out of pocket expenses for our sellers meaning no closing costs at all.
Q: How are you different from a real estate agent?
A: As mentioned a couple of times earlier, the biggest difference is that you get to keep more of your money because we have and never will charge a fee or commission. The second difference is we can move much quicker than a typical real estate agent. That’s because a typical agent will want you to do repairs, stage the house, have professional pictures taken and on and on. Then you have to wait for open houses, constantly cleaning your house and dealing with your agent. Finally, after you have an accepted offer there is usually an additional 3 or 4 week wait to get the proceeds. After that comes inspections, negotiations, and more repairs, all which have the potential to ruin the sale and start the process all over.
